BANJUL

BANJUL

The capital of The Gambia, located on an island at the estuary of the River Gambia, hosts attractions like Albert Market, the National Museum, the Old Town, Arch 22 and the ferry crossing where boats leave to Senegal. Banjul is a small town, in fact the smallest capital in West Africa. Away from the tourist centers, this is where The Gambia reveals her true character as an unpretentious, easy-going place where African life is just African life.
